My piece on the Oxfam and the aid sector crisis spells how devastating it is, there are over 60,000 reported cases of abuse at the UN, yet they have not addressed this cases, over the years what we’ve seen is lots of filibustering and stonewalling, but here is the truth, we’ve not been conscious of how the aid sector could attract both predators and prey partly because we’ve been made to understand that the work that they do is beyond reproach, in most cases, such report doesn’t filter through to the press or senior officials, the aid sector is, in fact, a combative territory that should be plagued with predatory activities, but with strong regulatory framework, it can be curb, in my next piece, I talk to Pat Carr and other international aid workers.
